Wonderful Wednesday Night Family Meals
As a ministry of Bowdon Baptist Church we have delicious Wednesday night meals beginning at 5 pm. This is an excellent option for those of us with busy schedules. We start serving at 5 pm each Wednesday to allow children and workers an opportunity to eat before the children's choirs and missions organizations start their programs at 5:30. We finish serving at 6 pm to allow time for clean-up before prayer meeting starts. It is a great time of fellowship around the table.
The church provides free meals to a number of children who cannot afford to purchase a meal. In addition, a number of meals are delivered to elderly and homebound members each week. You may wish to sponsor this ministry by making an additional contribution; your generosity is appreciated. In order to help us be good stewards of our resources, please contact the church office if you are unable to attend or need to change your reservation. This helps us know how many meals we need to prepare and also helps us avoid waste. Debra Gibbs is our Church Hostess and does an outstanding job preparing delicious and nutritious meals.
